Whether you’re just getting started, struggling with a plateau, or looking for support to maintain your results, we’ll develop a personalized plan for where you are now. HSA cards are accepted for eligible services. Pre-Treatment Labs - Laboratory Review for Weight Management 1. A Comprehensive Lab Review is strongly recommended for all weight-management patients. Labs are not only important for medication safety, they can also help identify factors that may be contributing to difficulty losing weight, unexpected weight gain, fatigue, poor energy, cravings, metabolic dysfunction, or a weight-loss plateau. A deeper metabolic evaluation designed to go beyond medication safety and help identify why weight loss may be more difficult than expected. This review may include assessment of glucose regulation and insulin resistance, thyroid function, hormone levels, cholesterol and cardiovascular risk markers, liver and kidney health, blood counts, vitamin and nutrient levels, and other relevant metabolic or hormonal markers based on your individual history. The goal is to look beyond the number on the scale and identify potentially modifiable factors that may be affecting your metabolism, energy, body composition, or response to treatment. The comprehensive lab review is offered as a separate service that is invaluable for a deeper understanding of your health status. It is offered in conjunction with your weight loss consultation at a discounted price. 2. A Basic Safety Lab Review: A more focused review of laboratory testing needed to help determine whether weight-loss medications can be used safely and whether additional monitoring may be necessary. A Basic Safety Lab Review may be REQUIRED before treatment if you have certain medical conditions or take medications that could affect treatment safety, including: Diabetes or prediabetes, High blood pressure, Kidney or Liver disease, or Heart Disease. Laboratory testing itself is billed separately. Lab costs vary based on the testing ordered, laboratory used, and your individual insurance
