Service Description

A physician-led consultation focused on your goals, health history, previous weight-loss efforts, and the treatment options best suited to you from the convenience of your home or office. Whether you’re just getting started, struggling with a plateau, or looking for support to maintain your results, we’ll develop a personalized plan based on where you are now. HSA cards are accepted for eligible services. Pre-Treatment Labs & Lab Review Laboratory review is encouraged for all weight-management patients and may identify important factors affecting medication safety, metabolism, energy, body composition, or your response to treatment. A Basic Safety Lab Review is required at checkout if you have a history of hypertension, diabetes or prediabetes, heart disease, kidney disease, liver disease, or take medications that may affect blood pressure, blood sugar, kidney or liver function, or electrolytes. This focused review helps determine whether weight-loss medication can be started safely and whether additional monitoring may be needed. If none of these apply, you may proceed without selecting a Basic Safety Lab Review. However, after review of your patient intake or during your consultation, it may still be determined that laboratory testing is necessary before treatment can begin. Providing complete and accurate information on your intake form helps us make this determination in advance whenever possible. A Comprehensive Lab Review is strongly recommended for patients who would like a deeper evaluation of factors that may contribute to weight gain, difficulty losing weight, fatigue, cravings, metabolic dysfunction, or a weight-loss plateau. This may include assessment of glucose and insulin regulation, thyroid and hormone levels, cholesterol and cardiovascular risk, liver and kidney function, blood counts, vitamin and nutrient levels, and other relevant markers. The Comprehensive Lab Review is available at a discounted rate when added to your Weight Loss Consultation. Laboratory testing itself is billed separately. Costs vary based on the testing ordered, laboratory used, and insurance coverage.
