Ready to ditch the razor?

Laser Hair Removal

Say goodbye to razors, stubble, red bumps, and ingrown hairs.

Ditch the Razor. Keep the Smooth.

If you are tired of planning your life around shaving, waxing or tweezing, laser hair removal can dramatically simplify the routine. We use Alma technology to target pigment inside the hair follicle and reduce future growth over a series of treatments.

We treat everything from small facial areas to underarms, bikini and Brazilian areas, legs, back, chest and more. It can be especially helpful for coarse hair, razor bumps and recurring ingrown hairs.

Hair grows in cycles, so this is not a one-and-done treatment. We’ll tell you how many sessions are typically needed for your area, how to prepare, and what kind of result is realistic for your hair color and skin type.

Target what matters most to you.

How it works

How Does Laser Hair Removal Work?

Laser hair removal uses light energy that is preferentially absorbed by pigment within the hair shaft and follicle. The absorbed energy converts to heat and disrupts follicles that are actively growing, reducing their ability to produce future hair. Because not all follicles are in the same growth phase at the same time, a series of treatments is required. Hair typically sheds gradually after treatment, and the amount of regrowth decreases over successive sessions.

BENEFITS

Ideal For Clients looking for:

• Long-Term Hair Reduction: Produces progressive reduction in unwanted hair growth over a treatment series.
• Less Shaving and Waxing: Reduces dependence on frequent temporary hair-removal methods.
• Helps With Ingrown Hairs: Can reduce recurrent shaving-related bumps in appropriate candidates.
• Treats Multiple Areas: Commonly used on the face, underarms, bikini area, legs, back, chest, and other suitable areas.
• Fast Sessions: Small areas can often be treated quickly.
• Maintenance Options: Occasional touch-up sessions can address future regrowth.

Am I a Candidate for Laser Hair Removal?

Laser hair removal works best when the treatment can safely distinguish pigment in the hair from the surrounding skin. Hair color, skin tone, recent tanning, medications, hormonal factors, and treatment area all affect candidacy and settings. Very light blond, gray, white, or red hair may respond poorly because there is less target pigment. Patients from Toledo, Perrysburg, Sylvania, Maumee, Holland, and Whitehouse, Ohio receive an assessment before treatment to determine whether laser hair removal is likely to be effective and safe.
