This includes an in-person or video visit to review your symptoms, goals, medical history, current medications, treatment options, and whether additional testing, referrals, or medical evaluation may be needed.

Hormone optimization, medical weight loss, and peptide therapy often overlap. For example, a weight loss consultation may also require discussion of hormones, peptides, or metabolic health.

 

You will only be charged for one consultation fee.

Hormone consultations always require an in-depth lab review.

​

Depending on your symptoms and individual situation, an in-depth lab review may also be recommended or required for weight loss or peptide therapy consultations.

Labs may include:  hormone testing,  metabolic panels,  nutrition panels,  thyroid testing,  and others

This fee includes the ordering and interpretation of labs. It does not include the cost of the lab testing itself.

Lab charges are billed separately by the lab, and your insurance determines your out-of-pocket cost.

At times, hormone therapy or weight loss medications may be covered by insurance.  If you would like to explore this option, we can complete an insurance medication review.

This review helps determine whether using insurance is likely to be the most economical route for your treatment, once medication coverage, prior authorization requirements, processing time, refill logistics, and ongoing administrative costs are considered.

This may include reviewing coverage options, submitting prior authorization requests, and, when appropriate, completing appeal letters.

This fee does not guarantee insurance approval or medication coverage.

If you begin hormone therapy, medical weight loss, or peptide therapy, ongoing medical management is required.

Your monthly management fee includes ongoing monitoring, medication adjustments, side effect review, progress check-ins, treatment planning, and communication related to your care.

 

If your medication is covered by insurance and requires ongoing prior authorizations, renewals, appeals, pharmacy coordination, or other administrative processing, an additional insurance-processing fee may apply.

This fee does not include the cost of medications, supplements, labs, pharmacy fees, or insurance-determined out-of-pocket costs.
